Bronze and green enamel.

Distinction for to the members of the Belgian Armed Forces and allied military who took part in the Battle of the Yser River (October 1914).

It represents on the obverse a naked man with helmet and launches, along with the date and location, while on the reverse appears a roaring lion wounded by an arrow and the Royal Crown with the letter A, monogram of King Albert.

Fabric ribbon (red and black) without pin.

Fine condition. Normal wear use for its age.

Measures: 5 cm long (8,5 cm with tape) and 3,6 cm diameter.
